I just read on the Windblowers page that Pete had passed away. I am so sorry to hear this news as he was always so helpful and knowledgeable every time I visited the shop! A true gentleman. Louise Waters

Today I learnt that Pete had passed away and I was gutted by the news!!
I first met Pete in February 2018 when I travelled from London to Nottingham to purchase my new Miyazawa Flute.
I had called Windblowers and spoken to Pete and he had arranged a practice room for me to try several make Flutes. In the end , I settled for the Miyazawa.
Pete was very helpful, and came across as a people's person who had lovely customer service qualities .
I saw him last year January, when I returned to have my Flute serviced, and again Pete was able to do it in one day as I had to travel back to London the same day.
He was very accommodative and was willing to help me at the earliest possible time to service my Flute.
I will always remember him and how much he contributed to making this world a better place! I will miss him!
My heart felt condolence to his family and the staff at Windblowers.RIP
